In the past days, a number of audits have been carried out against concessionaires in order to hold them jointly responsible for the payment of the vehicle ownership or use tax for the vehicles they distribute. These audits are a consequence of the implementation of the decree that amends the Tax Code of Mexico City, published on December 23, 2019 in the Official Gazette of Mexico City.
