Jorge Arturo has more than 9 years of experience practicing as a professional in tax law, mainly in the coordination of projects in matters of litigation, advice and tax controversy.
He has a Law Degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and a diploma in Tax and Legal Services from the Universidad Panamericana. Currently, he is in the process of obtaining a specialty in Tax Law from the Escuela Libre de Derecho.
His practice includes the preparation, review and presentation of documents, as well as the follow-up and management of procedures before judicial and administrative authorities. Likewise, he has extensive experience in the analysis of tax treatments, in which he has advised various companies, national and international, on national and international tax issues.
Before joining our Firm, Jorge Arturo was a senior associate for 5 years at SMPS Legal, SC, and before that he worked, for 4 years, in the Tax and Legal Services area of Galaz, Yamazaki, Ruíz Urquiza, SC
Jorge Arturo has collaborated in various publications, such as: “ Getting the Deal Through ”, “ Financier Worldide ”, “ The In - House Lawyer ”, “Corporate Lawyer”, among others. He has also been recognized as a Recommended Lawyer by the Legal 500 publication, as a National Expert by Getting the Deal Through and as a Litigator and Consultant of the year by Acquisition International in 2019.
He is fluent in Spanish and English.
